Our first sight of Kendrix is to be a familiar one-- at her seat in the Science Division. She is
an eager officer in the GSA, obviously fairly high up, perhaps head of her division. She seems to be good friends with both
Mike and Kai.
Kendrix obviously has a kind heart-- or a good eye-- when she meets Leo. He nearly runs her over
but when she hears he is a stowaway, she doesn't turn him in and prevents Kai from doing so. When she meets up with him again
on a training mission to the moon, she seems amused and rather happy to see him again.
When Maya comes through a portal and tells them of her world's danger, Kendrix agrees with Leo and
decides to go there and help. Her and Mike go with Maya, and she tries to talk to him about Leo, being concerned that he's
too hard on him. It's clear from the beginning she has an attraction to the younger Corbett.
Kendrix pulls the quasar saber from the stone with the rest of them, and so begins her journey as
a power ranger. She never could have imagined what would happen in the next few months.
Kendrix is a hard-working, determined young woman, but she's easily humored and pleasantly friendly.
Her and Leo exchange some flirting throughout the episodes, but it never goes far like it was supposed to.
There weren't too many episodes about Kendrix, really, and her character wasn't explored as much
as it could have been, but she was a central figure and a vital one on the team. She was always the one to put in the extra
work and figure things out, and could always be counted on for anything.
And then it happens, what no one ever expected. When the Psycho Rangers return, and the Space Rangers
come to fight them. Psycho Pink is the last one left, and Kendrix sacrifices herself to save Cassie, and all of Terra Venture,
by destroying the Savage Sword.
After a large explosion kills Kendrix, her spirit appears and assures the rangers that she is okay,
and will always be with them. Then she is gone.
She appears to Maya in a dream and tells her to protect her missing saber, then to Karone telling
her to carry on in her place, which she proudly does. The rangers fight on without Kendrix, but they don't forget her or her
sacrifice.
Then, when the rangers finally come to the new world, Mirinoi, and return the quasar sabers, Kendrix
appears in a flash of light, as real and alive as before. She never explains where she was, only saying she was wondering
when they'd get there. She thanks Karone for what she did, then celebrates the end of their struggles with all of them.
Kendrix returns in Lightspeed Rescue with the other rangers, and takes her place again as Pink Ranger,
fighting the gouls with the others. She doesn't play much of a part, none of them do, but it is still good to see her back
in the fight.
